JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a resource in the school as a student counselor during the school day. Your daily tasks include providing support to students both for educational purposes and training in social interaction. Part of the role involves conducting lessons planned by the teacher and participating in the planning of daily activities. You will collaborate with other colleagues in the work team to drive the work towards the students' set goals with the student's best interests in focus. The position involves work at the school's leisure center, with hours varying between morning and/or afternoon.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is an advantage if you are a trained student counselor or childcare worker, but it is not a requirement. Work experience in similar roles is desirable. You must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and have insight into the school's and leisure center's governing documents. We place great emphasis on building trusting relationships in our operations, with both students, colleagues, and guardians, so a positive view of people is essential. As a person, you are flexible and willing to take your own initiatives. You should be able to lead, motivate, create engagement, and participation. We want you to view the child's learning from a holistic perspective throughout the day. In your approach, you should be positive and attentive to their needs.
